I have such good memories of Hotel Milton. I stayed there in October 2022, and the simple setup was fine for the good price. The owner was friendly, and we had a nice chat. She said she'd come from Germany more than ten years earlier. I came back to see what had happened after reservations stopped being available, and found the place under construction. I don't know if it'll reopen.

Petra was the highlight for us. She was so kind and helpful that we felt at home straight away. We visited in March, during low season, and were given a sea view room because occupancy was low. It was a lovely extra that they thought to offer without us asking. The room was practical and very clean, with a fridge and a bottle of water, plus a TV and air conditioning that warmed it quickly. The area was quiet, and the view out the window was incredible. Our room had everything we needed and was very clean, even though the Milton Hotel is quite old. Petra, the owner, was kind and made an extra effort to help us feel welcome.

The location made it easy to walk to Githio, with tavernas, a bakery, and a small shop right nearby. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean, and my balcony had amazing views. The WiFi worked well, and there was air conditioning and heating. It's not a new hotel, but it's well maintained, and the host's hospitality is one of a kind. She took time at check-in to help us get oriented, handled every special request, including accommodating my bicycle, and went out of her way to make the stay great.

The Gulf of Laconia looks magnificent from here, and the broad beach below is wonderfully quiet. For the price, the service and cleanliness were perfect.
