Mesanto Luxury Suites

The only drawback was hearing the neighbors. The rooms and gardens sit close together, so there isn't much separation between them. Apart from that, it was a lovely place, and our room was beautiful and very spacious, with all the essentials. We also really enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi as a spot to relax.

We chose Mesanto suites for the night before an afternoon ferry, but it would work well for a longer Santorini stay too. The large room had its own hot tub, and the village has plenty of restaurants. We'd happily recommend it as a base.

Megalochori was even nicer than we expected, with less of a touristy feel than Fira and Oia. The island's best viewpoint, the heart of Santorini, is about a 10-minute walk from Mesanto. We also found it easy and affordable to get around: the bus stop for other parts of the island is beside the family bakery cafe, around 500 meters away. Our September 2024 stay was fantastic. The room was roomy and cozy, with a lovely secluded outdoor space and private jacuzzi. We'd highly recommend Mesanto.

The little patio was lovely and clean, and there was room to park outside. Megalohori village is incredible, and the suites are within walking distance of its center, with a good location for getting around the island. Inside, our room was very spacious and spotless, with calming minimal cycladic decor. The jacuzzi was big enough, too. We enjoyed the stay so much and found it wonderfully relaxing. Highly recommended, we loved it!
