Megara Hotel

The hotel is tucked away, which makes it a good base for a longer stay while exploring the region. Our ground-floor room had a lovely private garden, and the stylish, spacious room was comfortable too. Service was impeccable.

What made our stay was how friendly everyone working there was. Kimon was lovely to talk with and shared local tips, and Tila kept our room, and the emergency work station, clean and much more comfortable every day. Thanks to both of them. We were there for more than two weeks while Megara Hotel was being renovated. The room was spacious and had a huge TV, a large balcony, a sea view and comfy pillows, plus a roomy bathroom. When we arrived, though, there wasn’t any furniture or a wardrobe yet. I needed to work from the room throughout the stay, and they provided a desk and chair, which I really needed. If you’re visiting Megara, this is definitely somewhere to stay. I hope I get the chance to come back someday. Thank you, Megara Hotel!

I’m very sensitive to noise, and this place was super quiet. I’d stay again for sure, mainly because the staff were so friendly. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and would put their service in the top 1%. I was exhausted after travelling and feeling a bit sick. The staff helped at exactly the right moment: they brought me water, arranged food and a taxi, and worked out the route and departure time. I was travelling alone, so I was really grateful for that extra help.

A great stay, with clean, quiet rooms and excellent staff. I’d forgotten my toothbrush and only realized late at night, but there was one in the room. Those thoughtful little details made the experience special.
