We loved the quiet setting of Antama, away from the tourist crowds, while still being a short drive from the Cretan beaches and charming villages. It made a great base for seeing the island, and we'd recommend it to anyone after a relaxing, authentic Greek stay. The house has a spacious patio and a beautifully kept garden with trees and colorful flowers. Inside, traditional furnishings give it a warm, welcoming feel, and the villa's Greek architecture is beautiful, with lovely views of the countryside. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and comfortable beds. We had a fantastic experience.

I spent a full week here in summer and would go back at the first chance. The neighborhood and surrounding area were wonderfully calm, and the house is beautifully decorated. It's right in the centre of Melidoni village, only a few feet from an awarded restaurant. The hosts are remarkable, genuinely hospitable people, and made the stay a great experience.

The garden is a real treat, well kept and full of herbs, orange trees, and more. At night the outdoor area is especially lovely, with indirect lighting and lots of places to sit. There are lots of charming little details throughout this beautiful, welcoming house, and it has everything you need. The outdoor space and downstairs bathroom feel a little dated, though. Those are minor points, and we had a really good time.

We had a lovely stay over Christmas and would come back in summer to enjoy the pool. There were 10 of us, from three families, on a three-day trip. The welcome was wonderful: a generous selection of cheeses and wine from the Titaki winery. The place felt warm and inviting, was clean and fully equipped, and had very nice aesthetics. Most important to me, the mattresses were really comfortable. The weather was good, so on Christmas Day we used the inner courtyard, lit the grill and wood-burning oven, and enjoyed our food at the lovely monastery table. I also enjoyed walking the picturesque village lanes and learning about its rich history. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
