Lido Hotel

Celebrating my friend's birthday there was a lovely surprise: they brought out a special dessert for her on the house. We had dinner right beside the ocean, looking out over the pool and water, and it felt magical. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and we especially enjoyed the wine, some of the best we'd had on the trip. We were welcomed like family as soon as we arrived. Our waitress, Adriana, was kind, attentive, and wonderful, and Dimitri, the host, made us feel right at home. The hospitality was next-level. We're on vacation in Melissi, Greece, and this dinner will be one of our favorite memories from the trip. If you're in the area, don't miss this place.

We found this hotel at the last minute after a long day of driving, and the strong reviews helped us decide to stay. We were glad we did. The owners were generous and incredibly kind, and our room was clean. The shower had hot water and excellent pressure. From the room we had a lovely sea view, and every so often we could hear the waves coming ashore. There's a piano in the hotel restaurant, and the owner kindly let me practice on it. In the morning, guests can have complimentary coffee and tea there. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel.

Lido Hotel is such a peaceful place for a quiet break by the Corinthian Gulf. The sea was clean and calm, just right for swimming and unwinding. We really enjoyed the fresh, tasty food, too. The staff were warm and friendly, always happy to help. We had a lovely stay and would definitely like to return. I'd recommend it if you're after a relaxing seaside holiday.

The one thing we liked was the sea view. Otherwise, we won't be returning to Lido hotel. We were given an old apartment in a building near the hotel. It had a little renovation, but the main door and balcony were really awful. The second bedroom had no air conditioning. When we arrived in the morning, Booking showed a room for a family of four, but they told us that was a mistake and the room was closed. They put us in this particular apartment for 220 eur/ night, without breakfast, which they wanted 15 eur/ person for. The apartment absolutely wasn't worth the price. There are no photos of these apartments in bookings, so you never know which room you're actually going to get.
