Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the restaurant served polished dishes with fresh local flavors. The suites have a lovely balance of modern design and local character, and many come with their own infinity pool. What really stood out was how warm and thoughtful the staff were. The setting is peaceful, with beautiful sea views and distance from the island’s busy areas. I can’t wait to return.

The beach was easily the best part of my three nights at Semeli Coast Mykonos. The property is beautiful, with two pools and a jacuzzi, and my one bedroom villa had two bathrooms and a private pool. It was comfortable, too. Breakfast was included and decent, with fruit, vegetables, pancakes, bacon, and the usual basics. The stay came to about 1700 dollars plus extras. For that price, I expected better service and a more refined atmosphere. Beach service was extremely slow, and the hospitality overall wasn’t exceptional. The resort felt very family oriented, with kids everywhere. As a solo female traveler, I felt out of place. It didn’t have the luxury, sexy vacation feel I was looking for, and came across more like a family trip spot. I shared videos of my stay on my YouTube channel, EatMahKandy Land.

The staff made my time in Mykonos joyful and memorable. Sofia, Dimitris, Eleni, Giannis, Costas, Giorgos, Stella, Elena, Akis, Rachel, Lillian, and the lovely gentleman working at the bar at night whose name I’ve forgotten made me feel welcome and at home. They even taught me some Greek. I’d come back just to spend time with everyone. Thank you very much! I’m a Hilton Diamond member, so I was excited about the upgrade, though all the rooms are beautiful and huge. My views were tremendous, and I found the spa’s jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room really relaxing. This is a luxurious, relatively new resort, and I’d return to relax there rather than spend much time moving around. It’s in a quieter part of Mykonos, away from the party scene. I traveled alone and felt extremely safe. I can’t drive, though, and there’s no public transport in this part of the island, so each taxi trip for an excursion cost €50 one-way. Fortunately, my tour included hotel pickup. Cell service can also be spotty once you’re away from the premises and its WiFi.

The rooms and views were amazing, and I loved the high standard of room service. It’s child friendly, too. But getting towels at the pool or beach was a whole quest. Nobody offered them, and even when I asked, that didn’t mean they’d bring them. No one came around to take orders at either area, and some staff were quite grumpy, which made for an unpleasant experience. Breakfast could use more variety, and the restaurant menu is small. After a few days we had to rent a car and eat elsewhere. Water leaked from our shower throughout the room, and they never fixed it during our stay.
