Sea Rock & Sky Private Residence

Searock in Merchia is a small family-run restaurant in one of Mykonos’ quieter corners, a peaceful change from the glitz and overpriced menus elsewhere on the island. It’s a lovely place to get away from the noise, whether you’ve just been swimming or simply want somewhere calm. The food is generous and honest, with traditional Greek flavors given a refined touch, but without the pretension of big hotels or trendy beach clubs. The prices are fair and respect both the guest and the work behind the meal. The cocktails surprised me too: fresh, balanced, sophisticated, and clearly made with care. They’re a real part of the experience, not an afterthought. Searock feels like a tasteful, quietly special spot.

The staff were exceptional, and it was especially nice when the owner joined us for dinner. He wanted to learn every guest's name. Their willingness to accommodate guests in English was truly special. The accoutrements were over the top, as was the restaurant.

Our first time in Greece, and we loved it. The hotel had an amazing ocean view, and our house was huge and really cute inside. The price was perfect for young students, and breakfast was very good too. I can only recommend it. We’ll stay here again next time.

The quiet beach out front was perfect, and I’d happily stay here again when I return to beautiful Mykonos. The hospitality was beyond anything I’ve experienced. They arranged our airport transport, served breakfast, shared recommendations for things to do, and took care of all the details that made our stay worry-free. Thank you to Sea Rock and Sky, Mr. Kryllos, Elias, and the whole staff for making our time so wonderful.
