Close the windows and blinds properly at night if you want to keep the party noise out. With everything shut, the room is very quiet. We had a lovely traditional room with strong AC and a great view of Merihas port. The owners make it a personal experience and are happy to share lots of information about the island.

The views and service were great, and it’s a very convenient place to stay. Just note there are some steps to climb, though you can reach the place by car.

Mrs Zoe was so warm and friendly, and her sons really tried to help with everything we needed. They’re a lovely local family who made us feel comfortable. The spacious room had pretty much everything we needed, felt cozy and luxurious, and everything worked just fine. It was super clean too. The place is in a quiet area close to port Downtown, with spectacular views at sunrise and sunset from every room. Top notch service, highly recommended.

We stayed in early October 2020. The room had a traditional Cycladic style, was clean, and felt like good value for the price. It was generally quiet, apart from when the large passenger ship from Athens arrived at the dock. The view from the room was remarkable!

The place was charming and so peaceful, and we’d definitely go back. Kontseta Guesthouse is right at Merichas port, so you can go straight to and from the ferry. The owners were genuinely helpful and welcoming. A big thank you to Joy and her son.
