We stayed for two weeks and were warmly welcomed. The service was good, and the apartment was cleaned twice by the attentive staff or owners. Towels were changed only on those cleaning days, though, so more frequent cleaning could be considered. Even with that, we felt we got good value for the money. Choosing Moorea Apartments worked out well, and we enjoyed Petalidi too. The apartment is charming, well maintained, and spotless, with very comfortable beds and the basics for cooking and eating. Some cutlery and dishes were worn, and a few knives were broken from heavy use. The lighting was a bit dim. Parking can be difficult because the street in front is narrow, though that issue isn't the owners' responsibility. It's a good summer spot for up to four people, close to the sea and beach, with restaurants nearby and the city centre only a few meters away, so there are plenty of entertainment options. Nearby restaurants were affordable enough that we hardly needed to cook. The drawbacks were minor compared with the advantages. I'd recommend it to anyone after a peaceful, well-equipped place near holiday essentials.

The apartments are very clean and nicely decorated, close to the beach, Petalidi square, and restaurants and bars. The host was the nicest you could hope for, friendly and always ready to help with requests. For a traditional stay with five-star hospitality and service, this is a great choice.

The location was ideal, right by the sea, with the peace and relaxation we wanted for our holiday. The owners were friendly and made us feel at home, and the service was excellent. The house had an authentic traditional style, was beautiful, clean, functional, and well maintained. They even suggested places to visit. We've been here before and will definitely come again.

The cottage is small, which was fine for us, but there were a lot of issues. The kitchen socket was dangerously loose, as were the towel rack and shower head holder in the bathroom. Water pressure there was very low, and there was no kettle. A mini stove and oven combo was provided, but the burners barely worked, so making Greek coffee took ages. The bedspreads in the nightstand smelled musty, like they hadn't been washed in a long time. It all felt neglected. At €65 a night, cheap seemed to be taken quite literally. Lilien, the younger daughter, was lovely, friendly, and open, and deserves a positive mention. The older daughter, apparently handling business matters, missed several appointments with us, always at short notice. Her reasons made sense, but it was still frustrating since we'd planned our schedule around her. We were also disappointed at the end. We decided spontaneously to take a taxi to Athens at night instead of the evening bus, leaving at 2:00 AM. The sister gave us a €10 "discount" for the partial night we stayed until the taxi came. I'd have liked more flexibility, especially as the older sister had also stood us up on our last evening and wouldn't have been back in Petalidi until the next morning to get the room ready for the next guests. Just because you book somewhere cheap doesn't mean it has to be shabby. In Halkidiki, we had a clean room for €45 a night, fresh linens and towels every two days, and owners who were always available and visibly accommodating. Sarti is very touristy, and even there cheap really was cheap. Just for comparison.
