The staff were friendly and polite, and our baby loved the lovely donkeys. The room was spacious, fully equipped, and had plenty of crawling space. We booked by mistake: we're a family with a baby, a group the hotel policy explicitly excludes, but a website glitch let us reserve anyway. The hotel used to accept families, and it was perfectly suitable for us. Still, we were disappointed to be treated as unwanted guests because we were parents of a small child. In Greek culture, children of all ages are normally welcome in hotels and restaurants. This exclusion reflects demands from some of the mostly foreign clientele the hotel serves. Age-based discrimination like this is a recent phenomenon in Greece, and we strongly disagree with it. Otherwise, the place is lovely. If you're a foreign tourist looking for a stunning view and a holiday mostly away from children and locals, it could be a great fit. My other criticism is breakfast: at this price, we'd expect a range of homemade local sweet and savoury dishes. Instead, what the hotel served was relatively generic.

The staff were brilliant, attentive without being pushy and always smiling. They seemed to enjoy working there and take pride in the hotel. We had a wonderful stay, and everything felt perfect from the moment we arrived. The views are great, the pool lovely, and the rooms stylish. There’s plenty to do nearby if you have a car. Morning yoga with Alice was a lovely way to start the day, in a stunning setting.

My parents stayed at White Donkey Hotel for their holiday, and my mom celebrated her birthday while she was there. The kitchen staff and the woman at reception helped me surprise her. They were kind, thoughtful, and very helpful. I had a very good experience with the staff and would definitely recommend the hotel.

What a lovely find. The White Donkey Hotel was beautiful, with comfortable, really nice rooms and great food. The sea and mountain views were stunning, and it was just the tranquil place we wanted. Boris, Irene and Georgia were incredibly helpful. There's a lovely beach club nearby, and the hotel helped us rent a car to explore. We'd highly recommend it and will definitely return.

We spent a week here in solitude, with a beautiful view, delicious food, and excellent staff. Morning yoga and the lovely beach club were great, and they easily catered to our special diets. What an amazing place to find. Go, you won't regret it. Thank you, Boris, and your wonderful, hard-working team.
