Breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the restaurant came with a stunning view of the sea and surrounding landscape, one of the highlights for us. The resort is surrounded by greenery and olive trees, with a pool and a peaceful Mediterranean feel. There’s direct access to a beautiful beach with clear water, plus a shuttle van and free sunbeds for guests. The whole place is quiet, away from crowded tourist spots, and ideal for a relaxing break. The staff were especially kind and welcoming, always keen to help with anything we needed. We had an amazing stay at Camvillia Resort and would love to come back. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Greece.

The best part of the stay was the souvlaki at the café on the village square. Breakfast was good and offered a variety, and the staff were polite, though not especially attentive. We were there in late July 2024, paying €280 a night for an Executive Triple Sea View Room, and it didn’t feel up to 5-star expectations. The room was dirty, with odd-smelling sheets, cobwebs, stained walls, and a bathroom covered in limescale. The garden wasn’t well kept; there was no drying rack, and the old outdoor furniture was full of insects. The pool also looked questionably clean. At the restaurant, the tablecloths and cutlery were stained, and the food was average. It seems some rooms have been renovated while others are older, and we were unlucky with ours. After management replied, we spoke with them and were assured the business’s image had improved significantly. We genuinely hope that’s true.

The view was nice, and the buildings and pool were decent. Our room was spacious and clean, and the beach shuttle worked well. Still, the rooms felt dated and poorly laid out, including a lit Exit sign in the middle of the room. The food was average, and some orders were wrong. Housekeeping also missed basic things, like making our daughter’s bed. Service was the main problem. Some staff were rude, top management didn’t greet guests until someone pointed it out, and they were dismissive about disturbances at night. We felt as if we were bothering them. Pool staff weren’t helpful, and the valet was inefficient. Even after giving notice, we waited 30-45 minutes for the car. It feels like a 3-star hotel at best, not a 5-star. Sadly, we never felt welcome during our stay.

The beach was so unclean it felt like a virus hub, and it wasn’t as advertised at all. It didn’t feel private, and worst of all, it wasn’t beachfront as they claimed. You have to drive down to the beach. The advertising is fake, the customer service is bad, and the rooms are way below a 3-star standard. I don’t recommend it at all for what you pay.
