Golden Beach Hotel

The beach in front of Golden Beach Hotel wasn’t the best, though it made a handy base for reaching the lovely nearby beaches by car. We had a relaxing stay without spending too much, and the value was great. The food was delicious and changed from day to day, the rooms were clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They cleaned the rooms regularly and changed the towels every three days, which was fine with us. For a budget hotel, it went beyond what we expected. We’d definitely come back!

The staff were really pleasant and kind, and there’s a pool and a play area for kids. Breakfast was okay, though much the same every day, while the dinners were really good. The rooms were decent for the preseason prices. Wi-Fi was poor, and mobile reception and data coverage were low.

The beach bar was a lovely spot for a drink with a view of the sea. We also really enjoyed the range of dishes, and everything we tried tasted good. The rooms and shared areas at Hotel Golden Beach stayed spotless and well looked after, and the pool area was in pristine condition, making it easy to relax there. We had a fantastic time, and the food, cleanliness, and amenities made the stay memorable. I’d recommend it for a relaxing holiday.

Angela at the front desk and the children’s playground deserve a special shout-out. The staff were polite, helpful, and kind, and the hotel works well for families, with a children’s pool and playground. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms excellent, and the water pressure great. Food varied, sometimes great and sometimes just okay. The beach is about 30 seconds away, but it’s only okay at best. The staff are the best part; most of the rest was more or less fine.
