The buffet breakfast was excellent, with hot options, cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, and the usual coffee, juice, yogurt, nuts, and more. The lobby felt cosy and homely, with a real wood fire burning in the fireplace. My wife and I stayed three nights at the Archontiko Metsovo in mid-February 2026. From the warm welcome until we said goodbye, owner and host Mr. George treated us like family. Whenever we saw him, at breakfast or during the day, he greeted us by our first names. He and the staff were friendly, polite, and professional. The hotel is a short walk down from the main square. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh local specialties and homemade treats prepared with care by the hosts. We had a memorable, warm two-night stay at the Archontiko Metsovou. The hotel was cosy and exceptionally clean, and the owners were kind, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. We'd love to come back!

We only decided to stop in Metsovo at the last minute, and I’m really glad we did. The hotel was gorgeous, our room felt cozy and was clean, and the people there were so friendly. It’s an easy walk into town, and the views are incredible. I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in the area.

It was such a relaxing place to unwind. We had a traditional room decorated in the Metsovo style, with a fireplace that kept it warm and cozy. The owners were kind and welcoming, and Dimitras cheese pie deserves its own review. Breakfast had nice choices, including excellent coffee and lovely Mountain tea. I especially liked finding homemade pies when so many hotels serve frozen ones. We’ll definitely come back.

The hotel felt like a Swiss Chalet, with amazing views, and it’s right in the heart of town. There’s convenient underground parking, and the rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast was traditional, delicious, and offered plenty of choices. George and Dimitra were wonderful hosts, always ready to help and happy to suggest things to do, places to see, and restaurants in Metsovo.
