San Nicolas Resort Hotel

The setting was great for a relaxing week with my partner. The water was clear and blue, with fish to see while swimming, and the place never felt crowded. We didn’t have to rush for a sunbed. Staff were friendly, polite, and welcoming. Breakfast had a good range, the food was lovely, and the drinks were good. Renting things like paddle boards by the water made the stay even better. A few things could be improved. I had two cocktails and both were disappointing, so I didn’t order another. I understand the staff hadn’t been trained to make them, but at a 4-star resort I’d expect a trained person to be available. I also didn’t like that we couldn’t use the room fridge unless we paid for the mini bar, so some of our things couldn’t be properly chilled. The beach bar only had larger meals, with no little snacks like crisps, biscuits, or peanuts. It wasn’t a major issue, but outside food wasn’t allowed in that area, and when I wanted something small I had to go back to the room. It would also help to put up a sign explaining that tissues should go in the bin in the rooms. We only found that out after asking reception. We did enjoy our stay and would definitely return.

The staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. They were so friendly and helpful, and always there when we needed something. The view was breathtaking, a lovely place to take it easy and enjoy the day. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of fresh choices, and lunch was just as good, with dishes that looked great and tasted even better. One of my favorite hotel stays in Greece. I highly recommend it!

We only stopped by the beach bar and weren’t staying at the hotel. The sunbed setup was excellent, the service was good, and the coffee tasted great. A set of sunbeds and an umbrella for two cost 30 euros. A nice spot in the area.

The views over the bay are beautiful, and the family-run place is exceptionally clean and friendly. There’s a large, quiet sundeck by a little beach, plus a big pool for relaxing. We had a nice room with a huge terrace and jacuzzi, and a lovely view from there as well. Breakfast was Greek, with everything you could wish for. My only downside was that there was no coffee-making setup in the room. I’d recommend having a car or other wheels, since the village has only a small store and a few restaurants.
