The beach in front of the hotel was nice, though small and mostly rocky. We stayed for one night in September, but couldn’t use the pool because there was an issue with it when we arrived. The hosts were very friendly and keen to help. Myrtos town is about a 30-minute walk away, so the location feels somewhat isolated, with upsides and downsides. The main road runs in front, and it can get a bit noisy. Recommended for a cosy stay of a few days.

We got a lovely welcome from the owner, who greeted us with a bottle of cold water. Our spacious room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable too. It’s a beautiful hotel, just a two-minute drive from beautiful Mirtos. We’d highly recommend it.

The grounds are lovely, and there’s parking right in front of the hotel. It’s a cozy place with a swimming pool, near the village and opposite a small beach. The rooms are clean and have a small kitchen, and breakfast can be ordered. The price is excellent for what you get, and it’s really one of the best hotels in this part of Crete.

We had a great time in Mirtos. We were there in October, when there weren’t many places to stay, so my expectations for this 2 star hotel were pretty low. The friendly people and cosy feel made a big difference, especially the owners’ warm welcome. It’s not a luxury hotel, but everything was clean and well organised, and the pool was relaxing. The beach in front is a nice place to sit, but it’s small, pebbly and has no sunbeds, so I wouldn’t spend the day there. You’ll need a car to get into town, since the road isn’t safe to walk along. We parked easily, probably because it was October.
