The service was excellent from start to finish, making the stay relaxing and completely stress-free. The rooms at Maestralia were spotless, spacious and comfortable, and clearly well looked after. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The owner, Maria, also known as Maro, is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and really goes out of her way to make you feel at home. I’d happily return, whether for a short visit or a longer getaway.

The little garden at the back was perfect for breakfast in the morning, and the house was clean. We stayed four nights and everything was excellent. We had a great experience, with wonderful hospitality. The hostess was genuinely kind and showed what a good host should be like.

Each morning I watched the sunrise from my balcony, and my maisonette also had a private garden with a mountain view. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. Miro was a wonderful host who knows so much about the island and could arrange anything I needed. Maestralia is a perfect place to stay on Skyros. The island feels magical, like a hidden gem. Can I come back, please? :)

The private garden at the back was marvelous, with a spectacular view of the chora, the village on the mountain. You can eat out there, and the apartment is close to the sea. Inside, it’s spacious, very clean, and has comfortable rooms, new bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. There are three televisions, three! The air conditioning works great, though we didn’t need it because the apartment has windows on two sides and stays well ventilated. It’s perfect for families or a romantic holiday. The host is one of the best I’ve ever met. She speaks a lot of languages fluently and can help with all your needs.

Maro is a real ambassador for her island. Her hospitality and filoxenia are unmatched, and her recommendations were spot-on and made our trip even more memorable. Thank you, Maro! The Maestralia residences are beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped, with a cozy garden and within walking distance of the best beaches and restaurants in the area.
