Captain's View

We spent two wonderful weeks at The Captain’s View in beautiful Molyvos, hosted by Melinda and Theo. From our balcony perch, we could take in the magnificent Aegean Sea, the picturesque harbour and all its activity, and the lights coming on across the bay in the intriguing hill towns. Coffee early in the day and wine at sunset made it feel like such a luxury. Simply stunning. The house itself was a delight. There are two bedrooms, each with an ensuite, a sitting room with those same lovely views, and a kitchen with everything we needed to cook local produce. The cute loft area had books for lazy days spent enjoying the space. Melinda and Theo answered our questions and requests, and nothing seemed too much trouble. They even welcomed us with wine. We loved our stay and hope we can come again soon.

Right in the heart of the village, with an amazing sunset view!

We keep returning to the Captains View because it’s such a relaxing place to unwind. Upstairs there’s another bedroom or kids’ space, with two double bedrooms downstairs, both ensuite. The living room and kitchen sit between them. The big balcony looks out across the bay and harbour, with a stunning panorama. It’s perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of ouzo. There’s a fabulous bakery practically next door, and the agora below is full of shops. We love how calm and peaceful it is, with doves cooing, crickets chirping and waves lapping on the shore beneath us.
