Alkinoi Resort & Spa

What made Monemvasia such a highlight of my trip was how welcome we felt at Alkinoi. From booking online until we left, the staff treated everyone in my group like family, and that made us eager to return. The hotel is quiet and has a fantastic view, with the Rock and its fortress city, the city center, restaurants, and excursions all close by. Our modern, clean room had a spacious bathroom, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Breakfast was superb. I highly recommend staying here. We weren’t disappointed, and I can’t wait to go back.

Yannis and Angelika made sure we were comfortable and gave us a stay we’ll remember. We spent two lovely days at Alkinoi Resort in October. The welcome was incredibly friendly, the views were great, and Monemvasia was an easy walk along the pedestrian pavement.

The service was courteous and excellent, and breakfast was excellent as well. The hotel is in a great spot, with a wonderful view of the sea and the rock, and everything was clean. We didn’t try the pool because it was cold, though the jacuzzi was pleasant and available by prior arrangement. I’d recommend choosing a room or suite with a sea view.

Mr. Ioannis, the hotel manager, welcomed us and shared recommendations for the area. The receptionist and the girl in the spa were very polite, too. We tried the sauna and jacuzzi, and really liked our room, bathroom, bed, and pillows. The view was lovely, and breakfast had lots of delicious choices with a view of Monemvasia. Everything was excellent. If you’re visiting Monemvasia, don’t bother looking for another hotel!
