The maisonette was spacious, very clean, and better than we expected. Its spot was quiet and private but still handy for shops and restaurants. We were treated with kindness and hospitality from check-in through departure. We'd highly recommend it and stay again.

The house is right beside the only way to reach the beach inside Monemvasia, and the terrace was lovely to sit on. It's equipped with AC, and the host warmly met us at the entrance, walked us to the house, and offered to carry our bags. After a long drive, the snacks and coffee she'd left were much appreciated. My only complaint is that in the hot weather, the terrace needs a small parasol or some fabric for shade. I'd suggest booking by contacting the host through her own website instead of using a company that takes a huge share of her rent. Also, try to have at least one meal at the neighbor's restaurant: Byron’s wine tasting 😊

Such a beautiful place, and we wished we'd booked more than one night. Take our advice and stay for at least two. It would be great for a honeymoon.
