Casa Rodanthi - Luxury Castle Residence

Our family of four enjoyed three days at Rodanthi in June. It's a gorgeous, carefully renovated three-story home near the entrance to Monemvasia's castle area. The top floor is an airy space full of windows, with a double bed and a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. There's no bathroom up there, though. The ground floor has a pleasant kitchen, a very small bedroom, and a bathroom. All floors have AC. The stairs connecting the levels are steep and narrow. I liked them, but you'd need to watch your step at night. The lower floor has its own entrance and is almost separate. It has a queen bed, a huge bathroom, a large shower, and a jacuzzi. It's the newest and shiniest floor, but I liked it least. It was very dark, with just a small window, and quite humid when we visited. That showed on the walls and ceiling, and being below the other floors wasn't enjoyable. Wi-Fi was available, but only really worked on the ground floor. Luckily, other open networks showed up on the top floor. Despite my reservations about the lower level, it's a beautiful building and space.

The view is beyond compare. This spotless place is in a great location, has comfortable space for six, and is one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. I'd describe it as a three-level maisonette with three comfortable bedrooms.

We had a wonderful stay in this awesome house, with great amenities and an amazing view. It's inside Monemvasia's castle town, close to the shops, and the hostess was friendly and excellent.

My family and I had a wonderful three days here. It's an excellent choice, and I recommend it without hesitation.
