Takis and his sons were warm, welcoming hosts and went out of their way to help us. Right by the water at the bottom of the island, the setting made for a romantic, intimate escape, with plenty of choices for food and drinks and lots of history to explore. One of the best experiences of our lives. It's especially lovely for adventurers who enjoy a peaceful stay. Catch the moon rising over the water, and don't miss the complimentary wine tastings.

Monemvasia is an amazing place to visit, and we had a great stay at the guesthouse. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. It's set away from the tourists but still close to all the shops and restaurants.

The owners are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the former monastery, a beautiful old stone building by the water, is very well cared for. Definitely recommend it!

We loved every day here. The place is splendid, near the end of the castle, with an amazing view. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and the room included free wine tasting. They also offer luggage service, which is useful on the cobblestone roads. Amazing place.
