Kritikos Rooms

We turned up without booking, and Eleni, the owner, found us a room straight away. The view of the Monemvasia rock and the sea was wonderful. She gave us a dream! Thank you, Eleni, from Eleonora from Italy.

I really enjoyed my stay. The balcony has an amazing view, and the neighborhood is quiet. The hostess was very friendly and shared lots of recommendations. The rooms are clean, parking is good, and everything is within walking distance.

The owners were gentle and helpful, and the place was good value for money. It’s just 50 meters from a perfect pebble beach with crystal clear water, and there’s a lovely view of the main attraction, the rock of Monemvasia. The building and room furnishings are old, but the rooms are very clean, which matters most. It’s easy to reach on the village’s main road, with parking available. There’s air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen.

The best part of our stay was Anastasia and her mother. They were warm, kind, and spent time suggesting places to see, restaurants, and beaches. Their hospitality made this one of the best stops on our trip. Our balcony looked out at the castle of Monemvasia, and relaxing there with a glass of wine each evening felt magical. The apartment was quite large, including the bathroom, and there’s a fully equipped kitchen shared with other tenants. A big supermarket is right across from the room. Great location, amazing views, and good value.
