Neapoli Villas

A very calm place made for relaxing, with just the sound of the sea. The buildings have plenty of space between them, so it feels like you’re there alone. The three-story villas are nicely furnished and have amazing views across the sea to Elafonisos. The setting is beautiful, and the property is a couple of minutes by car from the city. Great value for money, and the personnel were hospitable and responsive. I recommend it.

The grounds and pool were even better than we expected, with lots of green lawn and flowers. We rarely had to share the pool with anyone else. Our family of six stayed in a villa meant for four, with an extra sofa bed, and both the beds and sofa bed were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. From the front villa balcony, we watched the sunset and had breakfast in the shade of the bougainvillea. One small improvement would be a larger second bathroom, or some shelves to make it more practical. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The house is nice, though small, and the setting is very quiet if that's what you're after. The nearest village is a 10-minute drive away. We had several problems: the ground-floor bathroom had a clogged drain, cleanliness was very poor and we found hairs, and the Wi-Fi didn't work at all. The TV was small, there was no bench on the upper balcony, and there were other issues too.

The views of Kythira and Elafonissos are striking at sunrise, sunset, and dusk. Set above Vatika bay, in front of ancient Voiai (Neapoli), the estate sits in a remarkable location. The villas feel spacious and blend naturally with the surrounding vegetation. They're elegantly built, with thoughtful details and a quiet sense of luxury that leaves the landscape to take center stage. A great base for exploring the region and getting to know the local character of Voiai.
