The girls were scared when another guest let himself into our place after midnight. We also had power and water cuts that lasted hours while builders were working next door. The bathrooms smelled bad, and the concrete step leading into them caught everyone’s toes at night. The pool and hot tub were dirty too. There were two kitchens, but only enough supplies for one, so we kept going up and down the stairs to find what we needed. Not the best week.

The owner has put a lot of care and passion into a place with so many amenities, and the young man who greeted us was kind and helpful throughout. Sadly, our stay was spoiled by the cleaner, Katerina, a blonde older woman with a black smart car. She insulted us and spoke to us in a really awful way. It's a shame the accommodation doesn't have better staff, because the people who invested in it deserve that.

It’s hard to leave this place. Everything was clean and looked after, and the photos don’t really show how luxurious it feels. The villa is in a remote area, which adds to its charm. It has six levels, lounges, two fully equipped kitchens, two pools, one heated, a sound system, and private parking. You don’t get a caldera view, but the extraordinary architecture more than makes up for that.
