We stopped here last June as we drove around in our hire car, and I think that was the best meal of our whole holiday. I still think about the slow-roasted lamb eight months later, and there were great choices for my vegan wife too. The place is friendly and affordable, with a stunning setting. We’re going back this June and can’t wait!

I stayed in the spotless, cozy VASILIKOS room, which had thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The traditional guest house has plenty of character, with its village charm carefully preserved, while still offering the comforts you’d hope for. It’s wonderfully peaceful, among cobblestone lanes, stone houses, and lovely mountain or countryside views, and makes a great break from city life. For a genuine village stay with warm hospitality, I’d recommend it highly. I’ll definitely return.

Great coffee, and it’s a peaceful place to sit and relax. The public toilets were too small and didn’t offer much privacy, which I didn’t like. There are lots of bees around, so take care.
