I’m sorry this review for Pelagos Hotel is so overdue. I had a wonderful stay, and the warm, attentive service made it feel like a family-run place. The views over the town and water were especially beautiful at sunset. I also really enjoyed the pool and bar. Thank you for the hospitality.

It’s a pleasant, relaxing little hotel, though it isn’t the most modern. The rooms are large and have balconies. Outside there’s a good-sized pool with a bar and restaurant, and there’s a gym too.

The road to the hotel is awful. It’s very steep, no more than 2 meters wide, and there’s hardly any room to park. Unless you have a small or high-clearance car, getting there could be a problem. The rooms also don’t look like the photos on booking, especially the bathroom. I saw bugs in the bathtub, which was disgusting. The beach isn’t really a 7-minute walk away. It takes 7 minutes to get to the main road, then another 10 to reach the beach.

We were pampered all week, and I’d come back soon. The hotel is fabulous, the rooms are clean and the property is beautiful. There’s a varied, delicious buffet made with fresh local produce, and the sea is just steps away. Shops are close too, so go ahead and book without hesitation. Special thanks to Dimitri, Nicoli And George for the birthday party.
