Makis Louvlis Apartments & Studios

I’ve stayed at Akis’ place twice, and felt right at home on both trips thanks to Akis and his lovely family. The apartment has a charming Mediterranean style, and both it and the pool are super clean. There’s even the cutest little robot that comes out in the evening to clean the pool. The Greek food is authentic and impressive. Everything comes fresh from the family garden, seasoned just right, and the grilling by Akis and cooking by his parents are a real treat. The location works perfectly too. There’s a supermarket around the corner, and the nicest part of Moraitika’s golden beach is a 10-minute walk away. Moraitika is a lovely little town with lots of good restaurants and bars to explore. I can’t recommend Makis’ apartment enough for a memorable holiday!

Akis helped arrange our transfer from the Airport, and the family who run the place were so welcoming and ready to help. It’s in a good spot, three minutes from the green bus stop and market, about 10 minutes from the beach, with nice tavernas nearby. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, with good AC, Wi-fi, a large balcony and a spacious bathroom. There’s a lovely pool with big sunbeds. We didn’t eat there much because we were exploring the island, though food is available. I’m pretty sure it’s one of the best places to stay in the area. Five stars for the experience.

The owner helped us quickly and kindly with every request. When my car broke down, he arranged a service and introduced me as his friend so I could get it sorted as soon as possible and for a very fair price. I have nothing but praise for him and Makis apartments. The accommodation had everything we needed, and the yard out front was a real highlight for the children, who played there whenever we were in. Our room was cleaned every 2-3 days, with fresh bed linen and towels. Parking is also an important plus for anyone arriving by car. I warmly recommend these apartments.

Makis Louvlis place was a great base for exploring the amazing beaches in southern Corfu, especially if you have a rental car. The accommodation was very good, the food tasty, and the owners really nice. Shops, restaurants and caffeys are also an easy walk away. Thanks for a lovely vacation!
