Archontiko Papoutsi Pelion

The hostess was pleasant, but the room felt packed with furniture, and its position on the road to the main square meant we heard everyone passing through the otherwise quiet village. When we asked where we could get coffee, she sent us to the edge of the village. She was making breakfast for another room then, and we hadn’t been offered that option; still, she didn’t offer to make us coffee, even though we were happy to pay. The WiFi didn’t work either.

Mrs Thalia was warm and friendly, and looked after us while running the business on her own, despite being very busy. That made our stay at Archontiko Papoutsis feel perfect. The rooms were clean and came with several amenities, and this traditional boutique suite accommodation left me completely satisfied. Its position in the middle of the peninsula made it easy to visit Mouresi and other Pelion villages, as well as reach several beaches and the ski center. I’d definitely recommend staying here, and it would be my first choice if I return to Pelion.

We had such a good time in this wonderful location. Breakfast was especially fun, trying to guess which homemade marmalade Mrs Thalia had made. She’s an excellent hostess, and I hope we can come back to Pelion someday.
