From the first floor, the view over the natural harbor and sea is fantastic. Each apartment has a balcony or terrace at the front, and the host and everyone else were very nice, making it a pleasant stay. The cleaning lady was friendly too. Rooms were cleaned every two days, with towels and sheets changed just as often, which felt like frequent service. There are four apartments in this small building in the center of Damouchari, close to the sea. Only one can sleep more than two people, using an extra studio couch. The kitchenette has accessories and a fridge with a freezer. In the small bathroom there’s a hair dryer and reliably warm water, not just solar-heated water like in some southern European countries. The bedroom has two bedside tables, a dressing table, a cabinet, and an iron. The cabinet wasn’t big enough for four people’s clothes, though of course that depends on how long you stay. We were there for two weeks. WiFi is free, but the connection is often poor. Mobile signal generally isn’t great either, which may explain the WiFi.

There’s no sea view, despite Booking saying there is. The room itself is clean and comfortable, but the kitchen is very poorly equipped. Shower hot water is unreliable, and because we can’t access the boiler, we have to ask every morning for it to be switched on.

We really enjoyed our stay in this modern, tasteful one-bedroom apartment. It’s centrally located and has a lovely outdoor area for meals.

These rooms were horrible. The only thing I can say about them is that I saw the owner kick a cat to death in front of me.
