Galini

I liked the hotel and room style, the breakfast, and the great location. The Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby, though, not in the room, and footsteps on the wooden floor outside were very loud inside our room. We also ran into quite a few construction problems. Credit to the staff, they fixed them quickly 😊

The peaceful setting at Galini was exactly what I needed after our wedding. My husband and I came to rest and recover from all the planning and excitement, and I slept better than I had in months. All around us were nature and lovely traditional houses, with birdsong, the sea, and wind in the trees. I really felt recharged, and only wish we’d stayed longer. The shore is among the cleanest and prettiest in Pelion, and it’s about a minute’s walk from the hotel. The water is crystal clear, so you can be swimming almost as soon as you step outside. Galini means serenity, and the name fits. Inside, the hotel has cozy spaces, beautiful decor, and antique touches that connect it to Greece’s history and culture. There’s character and warmth in every corner. Cafés, good food, and fresh seafood are all within walking distance. I’ve eaten seafood all over Greece, and this was some of the freshest I’ve tasted. The local people were kind and welcoming everywhere we went. I can’t wait to come back to Greece and spend longer at Galini. Thank you for such a spotless, welcoming stay. I can’t really put into words how much I enjoyed it. After the wedding, this place gave me the rest, peace, and memories I needed. ❤️🙏

We chose to stay at Galini during our visit to beautiful Agios Ioannis. On arrival, the owner welcomed us warmly and was friendly, very polite, and helpful. Our room had a garden view and was quiet, spacious, and extremely clean. We were impressed by how spotless all the spaces were.
