Villa Sunray

The towels smelled bad, and the bed had a thin cover thrown straight over it, which wasn't comfortable. There was no information when we arrived, and the woman wasn't welcoming and didn't speak English. Breakfast was only at 9 am, much too late if you want to enjoy the whole day, and there was no fruit or yogurt. For the price, I wouldn't choose this place when you can get much more and better elsewhere in Greece. Horrible.

The accommodation was lovely and clean, with a great view. The owners were kind and helpful, and the location gave us plenty to see nearby. We could walk to two beaches, but going anywhere else meant at least a 30-minute drive over the mountain and back down to the coast. The road has lots of sharp turns and switchbacks, which wasn't pleasant for frequent trips during our 10-day stay and wasn't great for the car either. We also had lots of waves for most of our visit, and locals said that's expected in August-September.

The owners were very kind and friendly, and our room was spotless with a beautiful view. Breakfast was tasty and homemade. We also recommend buying olives and olive oil from the owner.

The terrace was lovely for breakfast, which was okay. People were nice, though they spoke very little English, and we managed to understand each other. The rooms looked fine, with high ceilings and clean floors. The doors to the balcony and bathroom, as well as the closet and drawers, were difficult or noisy to open and close. Nice view, too.
