The owners and staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. When we left, they even gave us two bottles of water for the road, a small gesture I really appreciated. The owners clearly care about the place, and I thought the value for money was fair. I stayed for seven nights from early to mid-August. I haven't stayed in other three-star hotels, so my comments may be stricter than they deserve. Our top-floor Comfort Room with sea view was spacious, clean, bright, and decorated in cool tones. There weren't many power outlets by the bed, and the shower pressure was low, especially when nearby rooms were using theirs. Wi-Fi was good throughout. Breakfast was basic, with little variety. The hotel sits right on the seafront, which is also Agios Ioannis' main street, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. There is no private parking. The nearest lot is 300 m away, and street parking is scarce. The beach in front is average, though there are beautiful beaches nearby: Plaka, reached by a difficult and somewhat risky coastal path, and Papa Nero, a 1 km walk, so don't drive. Beach umbrellas need to be reserved the day before. Some nights there were parties with loud music, including live music until 3 a.m., which could bother light sleepers. I did enjoy the music from my balcony one night. Personally, I don't think hotels and bars mix well.

The beach bar was just right, with food, drinks, and cocktails available on the beach so we could spend the day relaxing on a sunbed. The beach is rocky, but cheap water shoes from any village store sort that out. The sun goes behind the mountain at 6:30, cutting the sunbathing a bit short, but the mountain views make up for it. It's a small, cozy hotel across the road from the beach, in a traditional Greek village far from tourist traps. Life slows down here, and the people running the place are simply the best. One of the most amazing places I've visited in Greece, and perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Definitely my best stay in Greece! The people working here and the owners made the strongest impression: everyone was polite, professional, and made the stay more enjoyable. The hotel has its own beach with sunbeds right in front, and the rooms are very clean and tidied every day. :)

The hotel's in a great spot for the beach and a relaxed, chilled-out break. The pebble and sand beach is spotless and well maintained. Some people might not like the stones, but they make the water beautifully clear, and the whole area has a real family feel. Kenta beach hotel is clean, and the staff are great. Dimitris was especially welcoming and made us feel like part of the family.

What a fabulous stay. Check-in was seamless, breakfast was buffet style, the beach is right across the street, and there are loads of lovely dinner options nearby. The hotel was super clean, and the staff were amazing. The cocktails were delicious, which is rare for a hotel in Greece. A quiet gem, don't hesitate to book.
