The location worked really well, with two beaches about a three-minute walk away and a grocery store just across the road. The staff were kind and flexible about our late arrival and early checkout. The room was less appealing: old furniture, a very cramped shower, and the shower head kept falling down on us. The receptionist arranged an early airport taxi through her cousin and estimated €20-€25, but the driver charged €50 for the five-minute trip. We took it because it was so early and we were worried about missing our flight. Try to travel during public bus hours if you want to avoid island taxi costs.

The staff were friendly and the location was good, though the dated furniture felt a bit stale. The tiny shower was more of a nuisance, and its head fell off a few times. The real disappointment was the 6:00 AM airport ride arranged by a desk worker. She said the hotel-linked shuttle, driven by her cousin, would cost about 20-25, already a lot for a five-minute drive. When he showed up, he demanded €50 and gave us no choice. We were afraid to refuse and miss our flight. He joked that everything in Mykonos is expensive, so I hope that €50 buys him some toothpaste. Otherwise, we would have rated the place higher.

Getting back to the airport at checkout went just as smoothly as our arrival. The driver was already waiting for us when we landed, and the receptionist greeted us warmly before showing us to our spacious, renovated, quiet room after check-in. We had everything we needed for the holiday. Ornos beach and Korfos beach were both about a five-minute walk away, though Korfos is more exposed to Mykonos' strong winds. There’s also a nearby bus stop with service to Fabrika, the main bus terminal, which is handy if you don't have your own transport. It was a lovely stay, and we'd definitely return to Mykonos and Elena studios and suites.

Elena, the owner, is friendly and really attentive, and the room maids cleaned our studio every day. The studio was very clean and a good deal for the price. We had parking, air conditioning, a kitchen, towels, and Wi-Fi. Shops, a supermarket, bakery, beach, restaurants, and public transport were all in the area. Just one small thing, the shower in room 112 could use an update.

The people were lovely, and the Wi-Fi was very good. We had plenty of hot water, and the supermarket is right across the road. The location suited us, away from the posh places, though some things in the room need replacing. There was a big chunk missing from the table. We'd stay here again, but Mykonos itself wasn't for us. It felt too expensive, with too many private beach clubs, and not very authentically Greek. Mykonos town, though, is stunning 😁
