Belvedere Mykonos - Main Hotel Rooms &Suites

We booked through Hotels.com. The hotel itself is really nice, the wait staff were exceptional, and room service was excellent. But halfway through our stay, heavy construction started just below our window and balcony. They were ripping up the sidewalk and jackhammering, with no warning and no explanation. The noise was extremely loud and unpleasant, and it made the stay far from relaxing. That hardly felt like a “5 star” hotel. I also wouldn’t recommend the €40 airport transfer. The airport is only a five-minute drive away. On the cocktail prices people have mentioned, yes, they really are egregious. A tip: AB supermarket is a four-minute walk down the hill, with beer and liquor at normal prices. We bought groceries and made our own drinks.

Marianna at the concierge desk went above and beyond to help me arrange a surprise birthday celebration for my brother. She organized balloons and a cake, then made sure every detail was in place while we were out. Her warm communication and thoughtful touches made our incredible stay at the Belvedere even more special. I highly recommend the hotel and Marianna’s guest service to anyone visiting Mykonos!

The staff were young, but incredibly kind and attentive, always willing to go the extra mile. They tracked our ferry on arrival and made check-in very friendly. We were celebrating our birthday at the hotel and they spoiled us with a wonderful brownie pie and candles at breakfast. The place feels like a small Myconian village, with breathtaking views across the grounds and over the harbor and city, even though it’s a city hotel. The breakfast buffet was extensive and good, with an à la carte menu if you want anything extra. It’s a five-minute walk to the town center, yet the area still feels peaceful amid Mykonos’ wild bustle. There are comfortable sunbeds and they serve a good lunch. We’ll certainly return when we come back to Mykonos. Highly recommend!

The pool was a lovely place to unwind, and both breakfasts were fresh and tasty. We did find the poolside and restaurant prices excessive, even for a place like this, so we might have spent more time there if they were a little lower. We came to Mykonos in mid-April with my daughter after a disappointing first night at another hotel, and went to see Belvedere. The reception team were warm and helpful, showing us around and explaining the room choices without putting any pressure on us. We were so glad we switched. Our room smelled lovely and felt cosy, and the high-quality bedding and incredibly comfortable bed were a relief after a poor night's sleep. Belvedere turned the trip around: stylish and welcoming, without feeling pretentious. We'd happily recommend it. Thanks again! :)
