Lefteris Hotel & Apartments

The food is delicious and tastes like something your Greek grandma would cook. Such a great place to eat, and a must try when you’re in Mykonos!

The patio was such a great extra. We could head up there whenever we wanted to relax, and the room was ready early. The staff were lovely, and when we had a small water problem, the very nice manager fixed it right away. One thing to know, Lefteris hotel is not close to the ferry station, despite what many reviews say. There’s a new one now, and you can take a bus or taxi to the taxi square, which is five minutes away. The bathroom could use a shower door, since the floor slopes the wrong way and it’s hard not to get water everywhere. The room is small, but that’s clear on the website before booking. I can’t say enough about how good this hotel is, especially for younger travelers on a budget.

The veranda is a lovely place to catch the sunset, have something to eat, or smoke. The location makes it easy to wander around, with the sea just a few steps down the stairs. There are lots of good restaurants, souvenir shops, cafes, ice cream places and jewellers nearby. There’s also a church close by with amazing music coming from it, and the area still has an authentic fishing village feel. The hotel works well if you’d rather explore than stay indoors, and all the employees are very kind.

They leave everything you need for a good breakfast in the room every day, and you can also eat, have breakfast, or smoke on the veranda while taking in those beautiful Mykonos sunsets. The owner and staff are all very kind, and the cleaning service was excellent. We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it.
