We asked for a discount or compensation after a sleepless night caused by the broken AC, the stress, and a ruined day. The response was rude and hostile. No refund, no courtesy, and no professionalism. We were exhausted and miserable the next day, and our limited time in Mykonos was wasted. This derailed what should have been a special, joyful trip. The room was promised to be comfortable, but in the summer heat it became an unbearable sauna. The air conditioner was broken, there was no ventilation, and staff took no responsibility. I started feeling short of breath, sweating intensely, and physically uncomfortable. We couldn’t sit still without sweating. Opening the windows brought constant outside noise, so we couldn’t sleep at all. When we told the front desk, they said we could move to another hotel far away, late at night, with our luggage and family and no safe transport options. They didn’t offer to help with the move or seem to care that we were exhausted and had loved ones nearby. It was basically take it or leave it. If you care about your family, health, peace of mind, and sleep, stay far away from Mykonos Gem Suites. Faulty facilities, severe heat, an unsafe solution, and staff who treated us like we were the problem. Avoid this place. It’s not worth the gamble.
