We stayed the night before our flight home. The location is handy for the airport, and that’s about it. The room was huge, with a nice terrace, and the pool area was lovely. It’s right by the airport, so plane arrivals and departures are noisy. There’s no longer a hotel shuttle, though the airport is a five-minute walk away. No food was available, despite breakfast, lunch and dinner being advertised. There’s a lovely taverna opposite, and Aerostay down the road serves coffee and food.

The champagne cocktails were a highlight, creative and refreshing, with just the right balance. It felt special thanks to the staff, and the atmosphere was classy but still cosy. I absolutely loved this place. A must for anyone who likes bubbles with a twist! 🥂

I picked Queen Boutique Suites because my flight from Athens landed close to midnight, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the airport terminal. The grounds are lovely, with a good-sized pool where I went for a few swims in the middle of the night. The rooms are large by Greek standards and each has an outdoor patio. The hotel also makes it easy to catch the bus from the airport to the port and avoid the local taxis, which charge an unbelievable 40€, a pure rip-off. I didn’t meet Katherina in person, but she was attentive to her guests’ well-being. The rate was reasonable in early October. All in all, a nice place to stay, and I recommend it.

Service was the main letdown, so I’d rate it 2/5. Reception staff were rarely around. The hot tub in our room had no running water; I had to WhatsApp the owner, and it took nearly four hours to get sorted. I think they could have left us something in the room as an apology. Food wasn’t available on site, despite being advertised online, and the bar was closed even though drinks and coffee were advertised. There was no kettle or coffee machine in the room, which all felt quite odd. The room itself was really nice and cleaned daily, but it was quite dark because the window shutters were locked, so 4/5. The location worked for us since we knew it was near the airport. There’s a nice restaurant across the road and more options as you walk toward the airport, so 5/5. It’s a shame the service lets the place down. Overall, 3/5.

Alexandra is very kind, always ready to help and suggest the best places to visit. The suites are beautiful, well designed and clean, in a peaceful spot near the airport, not too far from the centre or the amazing beaches. The pool is perfect for relaxing in the sun. I strongly recommend it!
