The best part for me was the staff, from the cleaners to reception. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful, especially Filippa and George, who made our holiday extra special and were happy to help with anything. There are two sister hotels, one a five-minute walk from Mykonos town and another a 15-minute walk from psarou Beach, and they were happy to drive us to either. The nearby bakery and market were excellent too, with friendly staff. We chose this hotel for the self-catering, sea view, and walking access to the places we wanted to see. Our room had two double beds, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a large veranda, plenty of room for two. Korfos beach was just 10 meters away, so I swam every morning before the kite surfers arrived. Ornos beach was a five-minute walk. It was fairly windy, but I found that refreshing, otherwise it would've been too hot.

From reception and housekeeping to the taxi driver, everyone here deserves thanks for being so caring. The hotel is right on the ocean, with a lovely pool and enough loungers for everyone. Breakfast was splendid and homemade.

Phillipa was incredibly kind and hospitable, and I really appreciated how she looked after me when I felt unwell as I was about to check out. She brought me ice, water, and food. Thank you so much! The customer service here is amazing. The room was quite small for four, and the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable, but when we asked, Phillipa kindly brought us a mattress topper. A big shout-out to the cleaners too. We were four messy girls, and even I couldn't handle the state of the room, but they did such a great job cleaning it. Thanks so much! X

The location worked well for us, right between the party beaches and the old town, though this is a windy part of Mykonos. Our rate included George as a free transfer from the port or airport to the hotel. I'm not sure whether every rate includes that. He also dropped us in town, which saved us another pricey cab fare. Fillipa put together a delicious, filling breakfast basket for us too. The property is gorgeous, with spacious, beautiful rooms, bathrobes, and pool views. Fillipa and George were terrific and had plenty of good recommendations.

We felt right at home at Mykonos Waves, and we'll definitely return. Filippa greeted us so warmly and helped us decide what to see and do on the island. The room was gorgeous, with a private pool and beautiful beach views, and we couldn't fault it. Breakfast was delicious, brought to our room for us to enjoy on the patio. We finished the stay with a bottle of wine on our last night, then got a ride to the ferry the next day. Thanks to Filippa and the team! John & Megs
