Petinaros Hotel

The pool was great, though a bit cold in early June, and at times scooters and cars going to other apartments made the area feel crowded. The rooms were great and recently renovated. Breakfast was fairly basic but really good, relaxed, and served until 10:30, which was handy when we wanted to sleep in. Getting to Mykonos town was easy enough, about a 10-minute walk downhill. The return is uphill. A taxi costs €5.

We had a lovely stay at hotel Petinaros. It's in a good spot, not too far from the nightlife, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of information about Mykonos. I'd happily come back. Thank you!

We chose this hotel because it was close to the centre of Mykonos, about 15 minutes away, though the climb is difficult. The free transfers to the port and airport were another reason. The pool was fantastic, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were smiley. Our small room was modern, and it was cleaned every day. My issue was the location of our room's exit, which opened onto the inner courtyard. There was a lot of traffic there day and night, including scooters, motorbikes, customers, people bringing food deliveries, and teenagers. It gave me the impression of a camp. Though, I have to admit, that's Mykonos.

Lydia at the front desk was very helpful, and the driver who picked us up from the port and took us to the airport was really nice. The hotel was clean, the rooms were a good size, and breakfast was good. We also enjoyed the pool and lounge chairs. It's around a 15-minute walk downhill into town, and it takes longer to get back. The uphill walk in the heat can be exhausting.
