The host was easy to reach, responsive, and spoke English well. He waited until 11 p.m. for us to arrive. It's very close to the town centre, and the place was really clean. The water worked fine, and the air conditioning can also be used for heating, which was great. The kitchen had the basics. We enjoyed our stay a lot, and the cute cats around were a bonus. For the price and location in Mykonos, it's not as bad as people say, and you can't be too picky.

I can't believe how uncomfortable the room was. It was loud and cold, with a terrible bed, dirt, and no comfort at all. The room was disgusting and unclean, nothing like the photos. We left as soon as we could, but they refused to refund us. The manager said there were burglars in the area and still expected me to leave my things there, even though the room barely had a lock. They also claimed the bed was new and previous guests had loved it. Seriously? There are much better places to stay in Mykonos. Avoid this one at all costs. What should have been a relaxing holiday got off to a terrible start.

Don't stay here. We got to the property around 10:30 p.m., and it was hard to find anyone. Eventually the owner, George, arrived and showed us a room that was still in use. We were given an upgrade for one night, but I was disappointed by how it looked compared with the photos and worried about what our actual room would be like. We got bitten by mosquitoes, and some netting would have helped. The next day we moved to our room. It felt very dirty, and the pictures need updating. We were only there for three nights. We were meant to pay at the property through booking.com. When we left, George wasn't around, and the cleaner said he'd contact me. He couldn't take payment from my card, even though I updated it on booking.com countless times. In the end, following booking.com's instructions, I arranged payment outside the site. Because of a bank error, George received two payments. It took him over two months to return the extra amount, despite my contacting him. Once he told me to wait because the payment was delayed, though the error was booking.com's, not mine. He eventually returned some of the money but kept £60 for “bank fees,” more than I was charged to transfer it. Four months later, I'm still waiting for that £60 to be returned, despite contacting George numerous times. Don't stay here.

We arrived to find no one there to greet us. A woman who didn't speak English called someone on the phone, and we had to speak to him to confirm our arrival. She opened the door for us, and that was all. The person listed at the reservation number never answered, so we had to ask people nearby where to go. The neighbors seemed not to know the host, which felt very strange. At least one neighbor was kind and said we could ask them for anything. The view was horrible, with construction all around, and the water smelled bad. The room was old, not really modernized, and had lots of fruit flies when we arrived. This wasn't the beautiful Mikanos I thought I would experience, and the stay was badly tainted. Don't trust the pictures, they are heavily filtered.
