The host told me to cancel my completed reservation with only two months’ notice. Earlier, he’d said cancellations weren’t allowed because he wouldn’t refund me. Completely unprofessional.

There’s no breakfast served. Still, this is one of the best places to rent for a few days. The hotel has a nice view, great shared areas, and it’s gay friendly. The apartments have everything you need to cook a nice dinner.

It’s close to the center but far enough away from the noise, and the apartment was clean and nice. The hotel staff were helpful. You can’t drive right up to the apartments, so you have to walk down the street for a minute or two with your luggage.

You have to climb quite a lot, around 60 steps, which is a shame. But the room is really good and welcoming, with a kitchen and a big, proper Moroccan bathtub that seats four when it’s full. There’s also a lookout where you can lie down.

My checkout was at noon, and I planned to stay in the room until then. The cleaner came by around 9:30 to take the bedsheets; I said that was fine and reminded her I wasn't leaving before noon. An hour later she returned and sounded annoyed, asking if I still hadn't left. Then at 11:30 she came in again, yelled that she had lots to do, and stormed out when I pointed out it wasn't noon yet. A really odd way to end the stay.
