Vrachos Suites Mykonos

The rooms were small but nice, and the price is reasonable for Mykonos. It’s not a long walk to the downtown waterfront, but the route didn’t feel safe, so we ended up taking a taxi even though it was less than two miles. I also think there should be daily room service and water provided.

The room looked just like the advertisement and had a pretty interior. The receptionist was really nice and helpful. But the walls are very thin, so you can hear people in the hallway and going into their rooms. The location wasn’t great for us either, the walk from the city center was long and steep. We stayed one night to be near the airport. It was okay for that, but I wouldn’t choose it for several days.

The hotel was quiet and relaxing, and I’d stay here again if I came back to the city. Christos was welcoming, friendly, and helpful with all my questions. I was in room 6, which had a nice back balcony with plenty of shade in the late afternoon and lots of sunshine. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, somewhere to hang my things, and a small fridge. The bathroom had a rain shower head. The AC kept the room cool at night, though make sure you set it correctly, since it got really cold, which I wanted during the heatwave.

We had a terrible experience. The hot tub never worked, and the manager kept telling me there were no technicians available, which made me feel gaslit. The staff were extremely unfriendly. While they were cleaning, their children ran into our room and touched and moved our things. The location was awful too. I visit Mykonos every year, and you can find much better for the price. Stay away.
