I stayed for just two nights, but the staff came in to tidy the room and change the towels, which was nice. The room was clean and pretty spacious, and everyone working there was friendly. Breakfast was really nice, and the outdoor seating area is relaxing. The hotel is at the end of the beach, right on the sand, and I couldn’t get over the view of Mylopotas beach from my room. Waking up and walking straight to the water was incredible. The bus stop is a minute away, handy as I was traveling alone without a car. It costs €2 to get from the port to the last stop in Mylopotas. FarOut beach club is a three-minute walk away, so you can hear the music if you don’t like noise. It closes at 10-11pm, though, and the area gets pretty quiet afterward.

Gorgona is right on Mylopotas Beach, with stunning views and spotless rooms. The homemade breakfast overlooking the sea was delicious, and the staff were so warm they made us feel like family. There’s a bus stop right outside, too. A perfect beachfront stay, and I can’t wait to come back!

The terrace overlooks the sea, and it’s so relaxing to sit there and take in the view. The owners are the sweetest people, and everything felt like a dream. It’s right on the main beach, which makes it a perfect place to stay in Ios. You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. I’d totally recommend it and can’t wait to come back.

The small boutique feel adds to the tranquility, and there’s a nice hiking path right off the property. I went in the morning and saw nobody else on the trail, and got some great shots. The location is excellent, right by the beach but far enough from the party scene that closing the windows takes care of the noise. The views are amazing, and the air conditioner worked well.

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were bright and nice, with a good bathroom. The water pressure and temperature were both good. The bed was a little small for two, but it wasn’t a problem. It’s a lovely little hotel, and they managed to fit us in despite us giving very little notice.
