Evgatis Hotel

That beach is amazing, though the hotel's beach bar wasn't my favorite. There's a better one just to the left if you walk along the beach. The apartments were roomy and very clean, but dated. The air conditioner was so old and loud that I couldn't sleep with it running. Breakfast was limited in both quality and choice. There were eggs made a few ways, supermarket biscuits and croissants, and some fruit, but basic things like yellow cheese and honey were missing. The hotel's restaurant felt too expensive for what it offered, so I'd rent a car and try the better, cheaper places elsewhere. It's an average hotel in front of a great beach.

The place was very clean, and the sweetest, most polite hosts run it as a family hotel. It's close to beautiful Evgatis beach. If you want to try traditional Greek cooking, ask for mama's food.

The rooms were clean and laid out well, and we enjoyed the food cooked fresh each day in the restaurant. Hotel Evgatis isn't a five-star hotel, but the owners' warmth made for a relaxing stay and some lovely moments. Thanks to Ianis, Antonis and Sofia for everything they did to make our visit so special, and to the Katsaraki family.

We left the next day after finding an entire home for 45euro per night. This room was nothing like the online photos, smelled musty, and had a disgusting fridge. I was very disappointed. Don't waste 120euro per night on this dump.
