The cove was gorgeous for swimming, and the stay felt very private. The house was cute, clean, and really spacious. I didn’t notice any smell, despite seeing a review that mentioned one.

A gorgeous apartment right by the ocean, tucked into a small bay with fishermen’s houses. The interiors are beautiful and have everything needed for a comfortable, stylish stay. Beaches and some of the best restaurants on Milos are close by.

The private cove made Terra Mare look appealing, but when my husband and I arrived for our honeymoon, the worn interior was a letdown. There was a smell like mold mixed with harsh cleaning products, and while the location is nice, the home itself wasn’t, especially for the price. It looked much smaller than the photos, and the bathroom was dingy. The booking was non-refundable, so be aware of that. I’d suggest looking more closely at other Airbnb options on the island. This place is extremely overpriced for what you get.

Staying in this cave house was such a memorable experience. The location was wonderful, and I’d love to return soon.
