The courtyard is a wonderful space in such a tight little town, and breakfast was good. Our modern room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and friendly. There are a lot of steps up to the hotel, though that’s common in Nafplion. The bathroom had everything we needed, but the design was just terrible for a modern hotel. Still, highly recommended.

Katia looked after us like family, and Helena and ‘Madonna’ were just as caring. We felt so welcomed and looked after at Aethra in the beautiful city of Nafplio, and it made the stay such a precious, joyful time. It’s a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Thank you 🙏

The neighborhood felt safe, and we found the service friendly. Breakfast was nice and our room was clean, with good air conditioning, though it was a bit noisy. There are several flights of stairs to reach the accommodation, which is a bit tough with luggage, but definitely manageable.

This cozy boutique hotel was by far our favorite place during two weeks in Greece. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The owner was very welcoming and always ready to help. One small idea for being more sustainable: use shampoo that isn’t in single-dose containers. We like to travel responsibly and care about those small details. I strongly recommend this place!

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. I especially loved the scrambled eggs and omelette. The location is right in the heart of the old city, so everything was close by. Our room was amazing, and the bed was so comfortable we could hardly get up! Thanks, Aethra, for a lovely getaway. We’ll definitely be back. ❤️
