Messini Pension

Breakfast was OK, and the hotel itself has charm. But it's above the owners' cocktail bar, so it stays quite noisy until the bar closes. I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids. The bathroom is very small, and the broken third bed, meant for an adult, kept us from getting a good night's sleep. Fine for one night, but not an extended holiday.

We had a fantastic time at Messini Pension, and leaving will be hard! The staff were friendly, fun, and hospitable, with excellent tips on what to see and do nearby. Our triple room had its own private patio, and you can even order takeaway cocktails to your room for 6€. Breakfast was included and incredible. The location is perfect, right in the old town. We LOVED our stay!

The wholesome breakfast and friendly staff were the best parts for us. Everything else was good too, with a central location just minutes on foot from the bus station and plenty of places to eat. We could only book the budget double room, which was pretty small, especially the toilet.

I love this boutique hotel, especially the fantastic breakfast with homemade pastries and jams. I didn't know Greek pancakes were a thing, but they're delicious. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. More storage would help, an armoire or dresser would be useful. The location in the old part of town is fantastic, and the ethnographic museum is right across the way.
