We were really looking forward to our stay at Pleasure Stay I in Nafplion, so this was a very disappointing experience. We booked four nights on Airbnb on February 17, paid in full, and had confirmation. The owner confirmed again the night before check-in on April 29. We were supposed to let him know when we were 30 minutes away so he could meet us at the apartment. I messaged at 4:45 PM, and he replied that there was a problem with our booking. He had apparently double booked through Booking.com, and those guests had already checked in. The three of us, aged 80, 70, and 46, were left without a place for four nights at the last minute on a holiday weekend. The owner apologized, but that didn't fix the situation. My daughter eventually found another, inferior apartment that we wouldn't have picked otherwise, and we made the best of a lousy situation. Be careful with owners who take bookings through multiple sites. The other places we stayed during our two-week vacation were wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay and wished it could have lasted longer. The apartment was clean, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed, right down to little things like spices and oil. The owners were thoughtful and kind, welcoming us with water, fruit, and wine. We especially liked the large, comfortable balcony, private covered parking, and Lidl right next door. It's not right in the liveliest part of town, which was the one downside for us.

Those sunny, spacious balconies were a highlight, lovely for coffee and fresh air. The apartment was quiet, stylish, and modern but still cozy, with comfortable beds and everything easy to use. We slept well every night and felt properly rested. It's a quick 5-10 minute walk to the center, restaurants, and shops, and Lidl nearby made grocery runs easy, while the apartment still felt tucked away. The hosts made us feel welcome with fruit, coffee, breakfast items, and two bottles of water. We only used the coffee, but appreciated the gesture. When we asked if my parents could visit, they immediately agreed and offered them a free overnight stay, though my parents didn't end up staying. That generosity meant a lot. We stayed at Nafplio Pleasure Stay Apartment and couldn't have asked for a better place. It was spotless and had a few thoughtful extras that made the visit more enjoyable. You can tell the hosts have put care into the details. We hope to be back.

The bay and shopping streets are only a couple of minutes away, and we could leave the car in the underground parking. We stayed two nights with four people, though I could easily have spent three or four days here. The apartment is modern, with air conditioning and a smart TV in every room, and it was very clean when we arrived. I also loved starting the mornings with Starbucks coffee and a slice of the owner's wife's freshly baked cake. It was VERY well baked. I'd happily recommend it if you want a modern-looking place within walking distance of the bay.

We’ll be staying at Nafplio Pleasure Stay whenever we’re back in this magical little town. The apartment looks even better than the photos, with lots of space, a great terrace, and lovely little details. It was spotless, and the hosts were just perfect. Thank you, Dimitris and Mika. Please don’t change a thing!
