Parking may take a bit of searching during holidays or weekends, and you might need to leave the car farther away. The TVs are older and aren’t smart TVs, so keep that in mind if you want to stream. Those details didn’t take away from a great stay. Our hosts were kind, helpful, funny, and welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pension had a great atmosphere, breakfast offered lots of tasty choices, and the location was awesome.

The room, “Van Gogh,” was really spacious, with two large beds and a single bed, all very comfortable. We stayed at Pension 2BE for the weekend with our kids while I was in town for an event. The owners were warm and welcoming, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. The location is excellent, just a short walk to restaurants, the port, and everything else we needed. I found this place by accident while taking my baby out in the stroller to get him to sleep. What a lucky find. The Old Town setting was beautiful, and it was especially easy to stay there with a child. Breakfast was so good that I could have happily stayed much longer. Markos was welcoming and professional from our first hello. Even though it was Saturday midday and we were making plans at the last minute, he arranged a stay for us the next day. When our friends’ family joined us at check-in, I asked whether they could stay too since there was space and enough beds. We were ready to pay extra, but Markos, one of the two brothers who own the place, said he had already planned to give our family a better rate than the original quote. He let our friends stay without charging extra and kept that lower rate. His generosity meant we could all be together and make memories we’ll always treasure. The kids were five and spent the whole day happily riding their bikes.

For my first visit to Nafplio, I couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming family-run place right in the center. The two brothers had recently opened it, and they made the stay feel special. Everything was clean and cute, and the homemade breakfast was fresh and delicious. We’ve been telling our friends and family to go. Greek hospitality at its best :)
