Naus Boutique Hotel

The staff made our time in Nafplio fantastic. We arrived well before the listed check-in time with my adult family, and since we had four rooms booked, the front desk helped us into the rooms that were ready and held the luggage for the others. We thought we'd be waiting several hours while exploring town, but they called soon after to say the rest were available. They also helped all six of us sit together for the included breakfast, found a lighter for my brother-in-law’s birthday cake, and suggested easier walking routes when they noticed my 85-year-old mother's mobility challenges. The hotel is modern and well appointed, the rooms were amazing, and the views were spectacular. The facility, location, and breakfast were all AMAZING too. Thanks for a great stay.

The buffet breakfast was delicious, with plenty of sweet and savoury choices, including eggs, ham, cheese, local breads, Greek desserts like chocolate-covered brioche and galatopita, and a great flat white from the bar. On New Year’s Eve they also offered us Vasilopita, a lovely touch. I booked a sea-view room and really enjoyed it. Though small, it was laid out well with a desk, chair, and wardrobes, and the port view made it a relaxing place to be. The design was beautiful, the bed comfortable, and the staff were warm and always happy to help. The button-style controls for lights and curtains were easy to use, and the room stayed at a good temperature with excellent air circulation despite the cold outside. Parking around Nafplio was a bit challenging, as it often is. One small thing: the frosted-glass bathroom door lets light through, which could wake you if someone uses it at night.

The suite had unbelievable views of Bourtzi Castle and Palamidi fortress, and both it and the rest of Naus were spotless. The staff were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was phenomenal, the best included hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, with pastries, cakes, cold cuts, fruit, eggs, bacon, and more. Naus was a big part of why Nafplio became our favorite place we’ve ever visited. We’ll definitely return. Thanks for the memories.

The staff were kind and helpful. They arranged a taxi for me to Mycenae and let me leave my bags before and after check-in and check-out. Breakfast had a nice selection, with a lovely balcony view. My room and bed were very comfortable, and I really enjoyed staying here.
